This is the first time that I've been to the show at Upper Canada Village that's put on every year by the Cornwall Olde Car Club.
There were some very nice cars attending. I tried to take some pictures of the rarer ones.

•1941 Ford Pickup and Trailer (This was really something. A nicely restored Ford Pickup along with a fully accessorized antique travel trailer. The truck is even equipped with some antique Schwinn bikes on the bed, the trailer fully accessorized in "Betty Boop" style. Really Something!)
•1954 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible (You almost never see these cars at shows. This particlular example was just superb.)
•1956 Monarch Richelieu (A beautiful and rare example of a Canada Only Hardtop.)
•1962 Dodge Polara Convertible (I know that this is not the car Virgil Exner (Chrysler's VP of Design) had in mind for 1962. Can it get any stranger looking than this?
Thankfully, the weird styling has aged well... And this example is beyond reproach.)
•1964 Chrysler 300 (This car was all original, down to the interior that looked like brand new. Fantastic condition and style! Oh, and I love the square steering wheel too.)
•1973 Mercury Capri (I was hoping to finally see one of these at a car show. These were tremendously popular in their day. Since the Mustang of the era had gotten big and bloated, Ford sold a lot of these slick, good handling "European Mustangs" to those who wanted some sporty and engaging driving.)
•1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue (One of Chrysler's last rear wheel drive cars until the current 300/Magnum/Charger, these old fashioned cars were usually equipped with 318 V8's and 3 speed torquflite transmissions. Most of the mechanicals dated back to the Aspen/Volare of 1978.)
